How do I make a reservation for a safari?

To make a reservation, you need to pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your tour. The remaining balance must be paid 60 days prior to the start of the tour.

The safari rates include:

All lodges and hotel accommodation with full meals as per the itinerary

Hotel arrangements on a full board basis while on Safari (unless otherwise stated)

Air costs for regional charter flights indicated in the itinerary

Entrance fees to all places of interest and wildlife reserves included in the itinerary

Safari car with an English-speaking driver guide
What is NOT included in the safari rate
The following are not included in the rates:

International flight charges from your country of origin

Visa charges

Airport taxes paid in Kenya or abroad

Gratuities (Tips)

Charges on beverages, laundry, optional excursions, and other items of personal nature
Are your rates fixed or can they change?

Rates are based on exchange rates, airfares, and landing costs prevailing at the time of publication of price lists and are subject to change, especially in cases subsequently affected by government action or other influences beyond Kenya Wild Step Safaris’ control. If rates change, clients will be duly informed.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kenya Wild Step Safaris. Cancellation penalties depend on how many days before the tour departure the cancellation is received:

50-90 days prior: Full refund of reservation fee

36-40 days prior: 10% cancellation fee of total tour fee

15-35 days prior: 20% cancellation fee of total tour fee

8-14 days prior: 35% cancellation fee of total tour fee

1-7 days prior: 100% cancellation fee of total tour fee
